Dr. Jonny JIANG, MD, PhD, is a professor of surgery at Tongjing University School of Medicine. Dr. Jiang is an internationally recognized surgeon in digestive tract cancer, especially in minimally invasive surgery and multimodality treatment for gastric cancer and colorectal cancer. 

Under the guidance of Professor Li Jieshou, a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Professor Li Ning, Dr. Jiang obtained his MD and PhD degree in Surgery from Medical School of Nanjing University. He did postdoctoral research in the Department of Surgery at the Heidelberg University, Germany, and completed his fellow training in gastrointestinal oncological surgery at the Cancer Institute Hospital of Japanese Foundation for Cancer Research (JFCR), one of the top cancer hospitals in Asia.

Dr. Jiang is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He is also a member of the International Gastric Cancer Association (IGCA), European Digestive Surgery (EDS) and Japan-China Medical Association. During over 20 years of clinical practice, Dr. Jiang has been devoted in surgical therapy and clinical research of digestive tract cancer, especially in gastric and colorectal cancer. His major is minimally invasive surgery for gastrointestinal cancer. Dr. Jiang led many basic and clinical research projects, and published 20 original articles in SCI journals including the prestigious surgical journal, Annals of Surgery.
