Dr. Mark Han is currently a Family Physician at Jiahui Health. He obtained his MD from the Medical College of Seoul National University and his MPH from Seoul National University School of Public Health (South Korea). During his university studies, he completed the Global Medical Education and Research Program at the University of Minnesota Medical School (USA).
Dr. Han completed his residency, fellowship and faculty development fellowship training in Family Medicine at the Seoul National University Hospital. He then continued working at the same hospital in the capacity of assistant professor and as Vice President of the Sejong City medical center, a branch of the Seoul National University Hospital. Dr Han came to China in 2016, and from then until he joined Jiahui health, he had successfully established and managed a prestigious international medical center in Wuxi, Jiangsu.
Dr. Han is a foreign-trained general practitioner with over 15 years clinical experience in both South Korea and China. He has extensive experience in caring for people of all ages and backgrounds, children and adults, covering a wide range of medical conditions. His experience includes more than five years in a health check-up and screening centre.
In South Korea, he undertook a great deal of work on a national project related to healthcare, which involved updating national health screening programs, development of guidelines for chronic disease management, prediction modeling of personal health risks, digital healthcare, and so on.
In addition to the conventional clinical field, Dr. Han also has an interest in the incorporation of IT into existing healthcare methodologies. In this regard, he has conducted IT-based mobile health and telemedicine research and business with a number of domestic and foreign companies.
