Dr. Kathy XU works as an anesthesiologist at Jiahui Health. She also serves as the senior manager of clinical process improvement, aiming at enhancing clinical efficiency as well as quality and safety through improvement of perioperative processes. 

Dr. Xu received her MD at Peking Union Medical College and completed her comprehensive residency and relevant sub-specialty training at Dept. Anesthesiology of Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH). She was vice-director of ambulatory surgery division and core member of OB anesthesia when working in PUMCH and received her associate chief professional title. She has oversea experiences in Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Mayo Clinic as visiting physician. Clinical research and teaching are also her focus, with many high profile SCI literature publication and textbook editing and translation, such as Miller’s Anesthesia and Chestnut Obstetric Anesthesia (Chinese version), etc.

Dr. Kathy XU received her MBA in Tsinghua University. She worked as administrator in Taikang Healthcare and Luye Healthcare before joining in Jiahui. The deep understanding of private healthcare industry including international hospitals, as well as working experience of system integration and healthcare IT management make her believe that better care delivery to the patients will come from better healthcare system empowered by advanced technology.
