Dr. Yiqun YAN, is a multi-practitioner of Jiahui Health, former chief physician, professor (2001) and doctoral supervisor (2003) of the Eastern Hepatobiliary Surgery Hospital Affiliated to the Second Military Medical University of the Navy.
From 1997.3 to 2000.3， he had studied clinical liver transplantation at Royal Prince Alver Hospital (RPA), Australia National Liver Transplant Center. He was a temporary registered transplant surgeon in New South Wales for 3 years and completed postdoctoral research at the Centenary Cancer Institute, University of Sydney. His research results were published in the Journal of Immunology and Transplantation.
Graduated from the Department of Military Medicine of the Fourth Military Medical University in 1984, that is, with the guidance of Academician Wu Mengchao, a famous expert in hepatobiliary surgery in China, he has been engaged in the clinical practice of hepatobiliary surgery for 40 years, and has completed a total of more than 5,500 cases of liver, biliary, pancreatic and splenic operations. Liver transplantation has been carried out earlier in China, and intratumor injection of anhydroalcohol before surgery has prevented the recurrence of liver cancer after surgery. In vivo gamma knife treatment of liver cancer (radioactive particle implantation), multiple hepatectomy for the treatment of intrahepatic and external bile duct stones, the evaluation of prealbumin and liver function impairment and liver reserve function, hepatectomy plus fenestrated drainage for adult polycystic liver disease, etc., all achieved good results. In recent years, his studies on the standard treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma with portal hypertension, standard treatment of BCLC stage B hepatocellular carcinoma, perioperative antiviral therapy of hepatocellular carcinoma, long-term clinical observation of hepatic hemangioma, and comprehensive treatment strategies for recurrent liver cancer have been carried out and published.
Since 2001, he has published more than 80 papers in academic journals at home and abroad, including more than 40 papers in international journals, edited 1 monograph "Liver Tumor Surgery Technique Image Diagram" (Shanghai Science and Technology Education Press, 2009), participated in the compilation of 11 books. He won 1 second prize of National Science and Technology Progress, 3 third prizes of military medical achievements, 1 second prize and 1 third prize of Chinese Medical Association of Young and middle-aged excellent papers of the Ministry of Health, and SOMPS Award at the 14th International Anti-Cancer Conference (Paris, France)
