Dr. LU Yiqun is a specially appointed expert in Pediatric Surgery at Jiahui Hospital and serves as a Chief Physician at the Children's Hospital of Fudan University.

He graduated from the Department of Pediatrics of Tongji Medical University (now Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology) in 1986 and joined the Children's Hospital of Fudan University, where he has worked for 40 years. During this period, he has been consistently engaged in the field of pediatric urology. As the first author, he has published over 10 papers in core journals and has co-authored two monographs: New Advances, Perspectives, and Techniques in Clinical Pediatric Surgery and Surgery for Lower Urinary Tract Reconstruction and Repair. With extensive clinical experience, he specializes in the treatment of common pediatric urological conditions, cryptorchidism, hydronephrosis, and hypospadias, and is proficient in managing complex and high-difficulty conditions in his professional practice.

Since 2017, he has served as the Chairman of the Ethics Committee of the Children's Hospital of Fudan University. He is also a member of the Medical Ethics Committee of the Pediatrics Branch of the Chinese Medical Association. He has played a key professional role in GCP ethics review, clinical ethics review, and organ donation ethics review, ensuring the protection of the legal rights and interests of pediatric patients and their families, as well as ensuring the ethical and legal conduct of clinical work.
