Dr. Allon AMITAI serves as an emergency physician and training & quality improvement director of Emergency Department at Jiahui Health. He studied Mandarin Chinese as an undergraduate at the University of California, Berkeley, then obtained a medical degree from Tel Aviv University in 2002. He completed residency training in Emergency Medicine in New York City at Kings County Hospital, a level 1 Trauma Center. Following this he completed an additional fellowship in international emergency medicine at Brown University, acquiring a master’s degree in Public Health.

In 2008, Dr.  AMITAI  moved to Hawaii, where he worked as an emergency physician in hospitals in Honolulu and on the rural island of Kauai, where he served as the chair of disaster medicine and was also a member of the quality improvement committee. He also worked as an aeromedical transport specialist physician, stabilizing and providing critical care medical evacuation services to patients globally.

Dr.  AMITAI  has been board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine since 2007. He has published papers on topics including blast injuries, ventilator management, toxicology, and international health.
