Dr. XU Kaiping is an Assistant to Chief of Anesthesiology at Jiahui Health, with over 20 years of experience in anesthesiology. He majored in Clinical Medicine at Shanghai Second Medical University (now known as Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine) in 2004. Before joining Jiahui, Dr. Xu worked at Huadong Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University. In addition, he worked as a member of the Chinese medical team at Hassan II Hospital in Settat, Morocco, from 2017 to 2019, during which he served as the director of the anesthesiology department and the intensive care unit of the hospital.

Dr. XU is proficient in various perioperative anesthesia and analgesic operations, including epidural, spinal anesthesia, ultrasound-guided nerve block, and various arterial and venous puncture and catheterization etc. He is also very experienced in the anesthesia of surgical patients with concurrent internal medical conditions. He is particularly skilled in anesthesia for thoracic surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology and other surgeries, as well as perioperative pain management such as labor analgesia.
