Current Appointment: Dr. SU Yan is an Orthopedic consultant at Jiahui Health

Clinical Experience:

-Dr. Su has long-term clinical practice in Orthopedics and ankle surgery.

-He is currently Associate Chief Physician of Orthopedics-Ankle Surgery at Shanghai No.6 People’s Hospital.

Specialty: Specialty in limb fractures, especially the ankle complex fractures, calcaneus fractures, talus fractures, fractures and dislocations of the middle forefoot, Achilles tendon rupture, and so on.

He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle post-traumatic sequelae, such as old fractures, deformities, malunion, traumatic arthritis, and chronic ankle pain.

Academic Achievement：

-In 2013-2014, he went to Mayo Clinic Medical Center in the United States as a visiting scholar

-In 2018, he went to Denver Health Medical Center in the United States as an AO Trauma Fellow.

-He is an international member of the American Orthopedic foot and ankle surgery association (AOFAS)

-Member of the China Research Hospital Association’s Professional Committee on Bone and cartilage regeneration and repair.

 
Dr. Su specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of bone and joint fractures of the extremities, especially fractures around the ankle joint, foot and ankle post-traumatic sequelae, non-traumatic diseases such as hallux valgus, equinus, flat foot, ankle ligament injury, ankle instability, talus cartilage injury, etc. with a wealth of clinical experience. He presided over a National Natural Science Foundation, published more than 20 papers in academic journals at home and abroad, and contributed to 8 books.
