Dr. Frank WU is an ophthalmologist currently practicing at Jiahui Health.

Dr. WU received his medical degree from Ruijin Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, and earned his Master’s degree in Ophthalmology from Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. He trained under Professor Fan Xianqun, a distinguished ophthalmologist, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and former president of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Prior to joining Jiahui, Dr. Wu studied and worked for over a decade at Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital, and international private medical institutions in Shanghai. He has published SCI papers with high impact factors. Dr. Wu is a member of the International Association of Orthokeratology Asia (IAOA) and a certified fitter of orthokeratology lenses including CRT, Alpha, and DreamVision.

Dr. WU is experienced in diagnosing and treating a wide range of common ophthalmic conditions in both children and adults. He specializes in myopia prevention and control in adolescents, pediatric eye diseases, dry eye, eyelid masses, pterygium and other ocular surface diseases, as well as ocular trauma, lacrimal duct disorders, and personalized ophthalmic plastic surgery. He is proficient in various eyelid surgeries and ocular surface microsurgeries. In addition, Dr. Wu is dedicated to eye health education and outreach. As a contributing writer and reviewer for institutions such as Shanghai Science & Technology Museum and Shanghai Natural History Museum, he has received the “Most Influential Science Author of the Year” award for several consecutive years.
