Dr. XUE Peng is the Associate Chief Physician and the Assistant to Chief of Medical Oncology at Jiahui International Cancer Center. Dr. XUE specializes in the comprehensive management of malignant solid tumors, utilizing advanced treatment modalities such as chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and PORT implantation. His expertise covers a wide range of common solid tumors, including gastrointestinal, pancreatic, breast, lung, genitourinary, and gynecological cancers, as well as rare tumor types. Additionally, he places a strong emphasis on the symptomatic care of cancer patients, with extensive clinical experience in managing cancer-related pain, preventing and treating chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV), and providing palliative care.
Dr. XUE graduated from Shanghai Second Medical University with Bachelor degree in 2000. He then spent three years conducting research at the State Key Laboratory of Oncogenes and Related Genes at Shanghai Cancer Institute (2000–2003). In 2006, he achieved Master degree in Medical Oncology at Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine. Before joining Jiahui Health, Dr. XUE had worked for many years in the Medical Oncology Department of Shanghai General Hospital since 2006, and obtained his Ph.D. degree in Medical Oncology during the work. Dr. XUE was awarded the Sasagawa Fellowship for academic funding and participated in pancreatic cancer research as a visiting scholar in Kyoto University Hospital in Japan from 2012 to 2013. He has published several peer-reviewed papers in the field of chemotherapy for pancreatic cancer patients.
He is currently a member of Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology and Japan-china Medical Association.
