Dr. SANG focuses on minimally invasive artificial joint replacement and shoulder and knee arthroscopic minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. SANG has been engaged in orthopedic clinical work for 17 years, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of geriatric degenerative hip disorders (including but not limited to osteonecrosis of the femoral head, developmental dysplasia of the hip and degenerative disorders of the hip (Osteoarthritis)，traumatic and degenerative shoulder disorders (shoulder dislocation, sports injuries, rotator cuff tears, frozen shoulder, etc), acute and chronic disorders of the knee (meniscus injuries, knee cartilage injuries, loose bodies, anterior/posterior cruciate ligament injuries), neck-shoulder and low back-leg pain syndromes. He is proficient and clinically experienced in the minimally invasive arthroscopy, joint replacement surgeries as well as traumatic injuries of the limbs and its associated treatments.

Dr. Sang pays close attention to the development of orthopedics especially on the latest surgical progress in the field of joint surgery and sports medicine both domestically and internationally. He has presided over a number of scientific research projects of Shanghai Municipal Health Commission and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and has published more than 20 academic papers in international journals (including Knee Surgery Sports Traumatology Arthroscopy, Bone & Joint Open) and participated in the editing of multiple medical textbooks books （as the main editor of Minimally Invasive Hip Arthroplasty through Direct Anterior Approach 《直接前方入路微创髋关节置换术》and as a contributing editor to Hip Surgery Techniques《髋关节外科手术技术》).
