HU Dingzhong (External Specialist), MD, PhD
Dr. HU Dingzhong is the specially-invited expert of thoracic surgery at Jiahui International Health. He serves as chief physician of thoracic surgery in the Shanghai Chest Hospital. Dr. Hu has been devoted to thoracic surgery clinical work for nearly 30 years, with an annual operation volume of more than 2,000 cases. He has accumulated rich clinical experience in thoracic surgery. Dr. Hu specializes in the diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and surgical treatment of chest benign and malignant diseases such as lung, esophagus, mediastinum, chest wall l, and trachea. He is especially skilled at complex surgical operations of thoracic surgery, including various high complex tracheal tumors, tracheal stenosis, and complex tumor surgical operations on the top of the chest, as as well as vena cava replacement in the treatment of thymic tumors. In the past 10 years, Dr. Hu has extensively carried out minimally invasive thoracic surgeries. He is skilled in all kinds of central complicated lung and mediastinal surgery under thoracoscope. He has performed the leading amount of thoracic robotic surgery cases in China. He also focuses on research for the surgical treatment of emphysema and lung transplantation for various end-stage lung diseases.
LI Zhigang (External Specialist), MD, PhD
Dr. LI Zhigang serves as the consultant of Surgery (Specialty in Thoracic Surgery) at Jiahui Health. Dr. Li obtained his M.D. and Ph.D. degree from the Second Military Medical Dr. LI Zhigang serves as the consultant of Surgery (Specialty in Thoracic Surgery) at Jiahui Health. Dr. Li obtained his M.D. and Ph.D. degree from the Second Military Medical University (SMMU) of China, and then completed the surgery and cardiothoracic surgery residency training in Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery Department at the Changhai Hospital affiliated to SMMU, and was subsequently hired to work there as an attending surgeon and assistant professor of SMMU. After completing the American Association for Thoracic Surgery (AATS) Graham Fellowship training in the United States in 2012, Dr. Li joined the Shanghai Chest Hospital and has served as the Director of Thoracic Surgery and Director of Esophageal Surgery. Dr. Li has extensive clinical experience of the diagnosis and treatment in all fields of general thoracic surgery, focusing on the precise diagnosis and stratified treatment of lung cancer. He has excellent experience in the treatment of rare and complex diseases in the fields of trachea, mediastinum, and chest wall. He has built and is leading the worldwide large robot-assisted minimally invasive surgery center for esophageal cancer, and led multiple international cutting-edge clinical research projects, and is good at providing patients with the effective treatment results through multidisciplinary collaboration.

XIE Dong(External Specialist), MD, PhD
Dr. XIE Dong, Associate Chief Physician, Associate Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, went to Mayo Clinic (Mayo Center) in the United States from 2013 to 2014 to study at the Thoracic Surgery and Cancer Center. His annual operation volume is more than 1,000 cases. Dr. Dong Xie is a Shanghai Pujiang Talent, Shanghai Medical Garden "Rising Star" outstanding young medical talent, member of IASLC (International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer), member of EACTS (European Society of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons), member of ESTS (European Society of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons), STS (Member of American Society of Thoracic Surgeons). His 2015 "Minimally Invasive Surgical Treatment of Early Stage Lung Cancer with Ground Glass Shadow" won the first-prize clinical achievement in Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital.
Dr. Dong Xie specializes in the minimally
invasive treatment of pulmonary ground glass nodules, ground glass shadows,
GGN, GGO, pulmonary nodules and early lung cancer, and single-port minimally
invasive treatment of pulmonary nodules (including solid and subsolid nodules)
surgical treatment. He also specializes in the comprehensive treatment of lung
cancer, thymic tumors (thymoma, thymic cyst, thymic cancer), and mediastinal
tumors.
YE Bo(External Specialist), MD, PhD
Dr. YE Bo is currently a supervisor of master students at Shanghai Jiaotong University and Associate Chief Physician of Thoracic Surgery at Shanghai Chest Hospital. Dr. Bo Ye obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from Peking Union Medical College, where he received excellent clinical and scientific research training, and worked in thoracic surgery for 18 years ever since then. He has an outstanding clinical ability, having presided over and participated in over 10,000 thoracic surgeries. His total number of operations exceeds 1,500 units per year. Dr. Bo Ye is proficient in thoracoscopic surgery for lung cancer, esophageal cancer, mediastinal tumors, bullae, pneumothorax, chest wall sinus, pectus excavatum, and other surgical operations. Dr. Bo Ye had zero deaths of patients who received surgery and the rate of complications is extremely low.

ZHAO Xiaogang(External Specialist), MD, PhD
Dr. ZHAO Xiaogang is currently an Associate Chief Physician of Thoracic Surgery at Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital. He is also an Associate Professor, and a supervisor of master students at Shanghai Tongji University. Dr. Zhao graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine with a doctorate degree in thoracic surgery. In 2015, he went to the United States as a visiting scholar for half a year, visited the Barnes hospital of UNMC University and Washington University in St. Louis. HE Wenxin (External Specialist), MD, PhD
HE Wenxin, chief physician of Thoracic Surgery Department of Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital, associate professor of Tongji University, doctoral supervisor, postdoctoral co-supervisor, is now a multi - practitioner of thoracic surgery department of Jiahui Health.
Dr. He has more than 20 years of clinical experience in thoracic surgery, and he specializes in the treatment of early-middle and operable lung malignancies, benign lung diseases and various mediastinal diseases with single-aperture thoracoscopy. He is good at the early diagnosis of lung cancer, the diagnosis and treatment of ground glass nodule and other lung nodule; specializes in lung transplantation for end-stage lung disease.
