The first phase of the Beijing Jiahui International Hospital project was officially launched, creating a new benchmark for international smart hospitals in Beijing.

On 18 December 2023, the launch ceremony for the first phase of Beijing Jiahui International Hospital was held in Chaoyang Park North District, Zhongguancun, Chaoyang District, Beijing. Jiahui Health’s leaders and partners attended the event, including GE Feng, CEO of Jiahui Health, Dr. John K. HSIANG, Chief Medical Officer of Jiahui Health, WU Yibing, Chairman of Temasek China, and HUANG Tianyin, Vice Provost, Tsinghua University; Founding Head & Chair  Professor, Tsinghua  Medicine, Beijing, China, jointly marking the opening of a new chapter for international medical care in Beijing.

As one of Beijing's key projects in 2022 and 2023, Beijing Jiahui International Hospital is listed as a key construction project in Chaoyang District's five-year health development plan established in 2021. The project is committed to creating a world-class international tertiary general hospital in China and undertakes the responsibility of providing public health services in Beijing. The project will assist the region in improving its public health emergency prevention and control capabilities, emergency medical rescue capabilities, and medical support services for high-profile international conferences and events.

In 2023, leaders from the Beijing Municipal Government and Chaoyang District came to Shanghai to visit Jiahui Health’s first flagship hospital, Shanghai Jiahui International Hospital. They commended the hospital's international standard services and operation model. This successful model will form the basis of the future Beijing Jiahui International Hospital to create a modern healthcare ecosystem in Beijing.



Jiahui Health is an innovative and integrated medical and health ecosystem in China. It is the larg-est comprehensive international hospital in Shanghai, with a total of more than 35 medical departments. Each department brings together high-quality medical resources from China and abroad, introduces advanced diagnosis and treatment approaches, and provides family-centered continuous care.

As Jiahui's first international healthcare ecosystem in Beijing, Beijing Jiahui International Hospital will have further enhancements and is committed to being a Clinical Center of Excellence. Jiahui’s Health Management Center, Rehabilitation Center, and Clinical and Scientific Research Training Center will be integrated to create an international medical complex and healing garden in Beijing that aligns with Jiahui’s approach of "whole life, whole family, whole health".

The hospital complex has a total construction area of 422,000 m2, with 500 planned beds, and more than 30 departments, including four Clinical Centers of Excellence, namely Jiahui International Cancer Center, the Women's Health Center, the Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Center, and the Cardiac and Brain Center, as well as a one-stop children's center. Other key disciplines include General Surgery and the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). As a pioneer in international medical care, the hospital will introduce exceptional medical professionals from China and abroad, carry out international collaborations with world-class medical institutions, establish international diagnosis and treatment procedures and clinical standards, provide imported medications that are urgently needed for clinical use, and ensure the safe use of innovative drugs and medical devices in hospitals.

In terms of education and scientific research, the hospital will further promote the international application of medical scientific and technological achievements, leverage cutting-edge medicine, build an international scientific research and education platform in collaboration with the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM), establish a multidisciplinary medical laboratory, and complement Beijing's research-based medical institutions. Beijing Jiahui International Hospital will also be the first pilot hospital in the fields of scientific research and clinical experiments, such as leveraging artificial intelligence within the medical space. Through robust collaborations with numerous leading international companies, it will focus on clinical research and the promotion of oncology, as well as enhancing research and development regarding biomedicine for diseases in older individuals, such as mental illnesses and neurological diseases. Additionally, Jiahui aims to integrate medicine and manufacturing, establish an artificial intelligence research institute, promote innovation and transformation of medical devices, and build a benchmark for modern smart hospitals.
