Dr. Carrie DU graduated from Shanghai Second Medical University in 2003. After graduation, she commenced her career at Shanghai Mental Health Center in various departments including general wards, geriatric wards, special care units, and chronic disease wards that helped her to accumulates solid professional knowledge and extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders. Since 2016, she has been working as an outpatient physician and providing psychiatric consultations for inpatient departments at a comprehensive tertiary hospital in Shenzhen. In 2020, she joined JiaHui Health.
Dr. Du is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders such as depression, anxiety disorders, adolescent emotional disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, social phobia, and schizophrenia. Additionally, Dr. Du provides rehabilitation advice and psychological education. The services are tailored for adolescents, working professionals, elderly individuals, as well as expatriates residing in Shanghai.
Dr. Du obtained the National Level 2 Psychological Counselor Certificate in 2017 and joined the comprehensive trainings include: Chinese Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Foundation Course, specialized training in specific disorders such as depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), interpersonal relationship therapy, short-term psychological treatment. Case involvement includes psychological stress, marital issues, workplace problems, adolescent school refusal, etc.
In 2020, Dr. Du provided psychological support and psychiatric treatment services for transit quarantine individuals at the Shenzhen Bay Port during the pandemic period, demonstrating her commitment to fulfilling professional responsibilities. She was also responsible for conducting primary screenings for mental health during conscription physical examinations within her district from 2016 to 2020, enabling her to develop rapid screening abilities. During the epidemic in 2022, she gave remote psychology lectures for many large enterprises.
