Dr. LI Ping serves as a Multi-site oncologist at Jiahui International Cancer Center and a chief physician in hematology in Shanghai Tongji Hospital, as well as a Professor and Master's Supervisor in Tongji University School of Medicine.
Graduated from Soochow University Medical School in 1999, Dr. Li studied in Japan in 2003 and received her MD degree from Nagoya University in 2009. After graduating, she studied at the Aichi Oncology Hospital in Japan for more than three years and returned to China in 2012 to work at Shanghai Tongji Hospital.
Dr. Li specializes in diagnosis and treatment of hematological malignancies such as leukemia, myeloma, and lymphoma, especially in study and clinic application of CAR T-cell therapy.
Dr. Li is recently a youth committee member of the hematology branch of the Chinese medical association, a youth council members of the China Anti-Cancer Association, a member of the lymphoma committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, a member of the committee of the blood immunity branch of the Chinese Society for Immunology, and a deputy director of youth committee member of the lymphoma committee of the Shanghai Anticancer association. In recent years, she is mainly engaged in the treatment of lymphocyte malignancy and CAR T-cell therapy. She has presided over 2 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and participated in many key R&D projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, national projects and Shanghai Science and Technology Commission projects. She has published more than 30 papers, including more than 10 SCI papers as first author or corresponding author.
