Shelly CHEN, MD
Dr. Shelly CHEN serves as an endocrinologist at Jiahui Health. She graduated from Tongji University and attained the Master Degree in Endocrinology and Metabolism. Prior to joining Jiahui, she has practiced as an attending physician in the Endocrinology Department of Shanghai East Hospital (tertiary hospital). She took charge of several researches nominated by National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shanghai Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission and Pudong New District. She has published 7 papers on SCI and made presentations at several international academic seminars. She was designated as member of the Project of Young Medical Talents of Pudong New District of Shanghai.
Dr. Chen has over 12 years of clinical experience. Her expertise consists of the diagnosis and management of:
1. Metabolic disorders: Diabetes and pre-diabetes, Gout and hyperuricemia, lipid disorders, Hypertension, Obesity, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), Osteoporosis and Osteopenia.
2. Endocrine disorders: Thyroid diseases including Hyperthyroidism, Hypothyroidism, Thyroiditis and Thyroid nodule. Disorders involving parathyroid, pituitary, gonad and adrenal gland, and other rare diseases.

Louis PAN, MD, PhD
Dr. Louis PAN is the Section Head of Endocrine Surgery, as attending surgeon in Department of General Surgery of Jiahui Health.
He obtained his PhD degree in General Surgery from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, with a research interest in minimally invasive surgical technology. He has published more than ten academic research articles on major professional journals, including Chinese local and international peer review journals (SCI). Based on his research, Dr. Pan published papers and gave presentations at a number of international academic conferences (including 2015 World Congress of Surgery (WCS) and 2016 Digestive Disease Week® (DDW)). Dr. Louis PAN obtained his master's degree in Surgery from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine in 2005, during which he completed the internship and surgical training program in Hôpital Civil in Strasbourg, France.
With more than twenty years of clinical practice in surgical department, he has extensive experience in treating common diseases in general surgery, such as surgical operations on thyroid/parathyroid gland diseases, laparoscopic operations on biliary system and abdominal wall hernia's, etc. He has also played important role in metabolic and bariatric treatment program, as a surgeon for bariatric surgery.
He holds the certificate of Da Vinci robotic surgical system.
Dr. Louis PAN specializes in treating various diseases, including but not limited to:
• Thyroid/parathyroid conditions (benign and malignant), including using endoscopic approach without scar left in neck.
• Abdominal wall hernia, especially using minimally invasive surgical approach, laparoscopic hernia repair.
• Digestive diseases which need surgical interventions including emergent procedures, like biliary calculosis, benign gastrointestinal tumors and inflammatory disorders (appendicitis, diverticulitis, etc.)
• Bariatric surgery.
• Perianal diseases, like hemorrhoids, anal fistula and anal fissure.
PANG Can, MD, PhD
Dr. PANG Can is the Chief of Endocrinology and Metabolism. She is now the member of the 2nd committee of the Endocrine and Diabetes Professional Committee of the China Association of Non-government Medical Institutions and the member of the 1st committee of Endocrinology and Metabolism Society of Shanghai Xuhui District Medical Association. She used to be the member of the 8th committee of diabetic retinopathy group of Chinese Diabetes Society. In 2012, Dr. Pang was selected as a member of the first “Shanghai Youth Doctors Training and Supporting Program”. She was awarded “Shanghai Outstanding Young Doctors” in 2016. She also participated in writing the Strategy Research Report of The Translational Medicine Development in Diabetes and Related Metabolic Disease Prevention and Control, Chinese Academy of Engineering, China’s first Expert Consensus on Prevention and Control of Diabetic Retinopathy, Integrated Management of The Medical Path for Type 1 Diabetes in China.
Dr. Pang obtained her master degree of endocrinology from Zhongshan University in 2005. Later in 2008, she got a PhD degree of endocrine and metabolism in Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Before becoming a member of Jiahui, she had been working as an endocrinologist at Shanghai No. Sixth People’s Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University and was appointed as an associate chief physician of endocrine. Dr. Pang is an expert in diagnosing and treating diseases of endocrine and metabolism. She is skilled in prevention and control of metabolic disorders, such as diabetes, obesity, gout, osteoporosis, dyslipidemia, providing professional advices on diet instruction and patient education. Dr. Pang also excels at solving complicated health problems in thyroid/parathyroid diseases, adrenal diseases, pituitary diseases, and polycystic ovarian syndrome, etc. She believes in offering individualized, professional, interdisciplinary therapy to each patient and is always committed to it.

Jason ZHANG, MD, PhD
Dr. Jason Zhang is an Interventional Radiologist in Ultrasound of Shanghai Jiahui International Hospital. He received his bachelor's degree and master's degree from China Medical University, and his Doctor's degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. He had been working in the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University and the Sixth People's Hospital of Shanghai Jiaotong University. In 2014, he worked as a visiting scholar at Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands for one year. He is young member of Ultrasound Therapeutics of Chinese Society of Ultrasound Medical Engineering and member of Shanghai Special Committee of non-public medical Interventional Ultrasound and Critical ultrasound.
He is good at minimally invasive treatment of multi-organ diseases, such as microwave ablation of tumors (liver, thyroid, uterine fibroids and breast, etc.), tumor biopsy, minimally invasive resection of breast masses, joint injection, catheterization/drainage and other minimally invasive interventional operations.
