    • Jiahui’s Department of Emergency Medicine is constituted by an international team of licensed and well-trained emergency medicine physicians and nurses. They are highly skilled in providing timely diagnosis and treatment of various emergent medical conditions, such as headache, faint, loss of consciousness, pain, edema, difficult breathing, cough, vomit, diarrhea, bloody stool, abnormal urination, vaginal bleeding, injuries, etc. The Department is equipped with 17 single consulting rooms in which short-term observation and fluid infusion can be provided. Additionally, if required, emergency consultation can be promptly provided by our specialists from other medical departments, and surgical procedure and/or hospital admission can also be arranged as needed. Relying on the sound relationship with a number of local tertiary public hospitals, patients treated at Jiahui Emergency Department can be conveniently transferred to the public hospitals for further assessment and treatment.

    • ● Treat pediatric illnesses including fever, asthma exacerbations, croup, ear infections pharyngitis, abdominal pain.


      ● Diagnose and treat surgical emergency such as appendicitis, cholecystitis, pancreatitis, intussusception, and diverticulitis. 


      ● Treat most injuries in both adults and children including laceration repairs


      ● Diagnose, stabilize, and treat all emergency situations and arrange specialist consultation as needed. When necessary, such as with heart attacks and acute strokes , transfer via our green channel to an appropriate hospital. 


      ● Evaluate and treat obstetrical emergencies.


      ● Manage all kind of animal bites and exposures. The Emergency Department now has a fully licensed Rabies Prevention Clinic open 24 hours a day. We also can do pre-exposure rabies vaccination.

    • The Emergency Department is equipped with 17 private treatment rooms. Additionally, we have 2 state of the art resuscitation rooms for critically ill patients. CT scan, MRI, and ultrasound are available 24 hours. If required, emergency consultation can be promptly provided by our specialists from other medical and surgical departments in JIH. When necessary, hospital admissions and surgical procedures can be swiftly facilitated.

      Dr. Niels DeConinck obtained his medical degree with honors from the University of Paris (Necker) in France. He then pursued his academic training and completed a specialty in Emergency medicine and critical care from University of Paris (Diderot) in 2008. He has since held the double board of General medicine and Emergency medicine. He worked extensively in leading teaching hospitals in Paris both in emergency rooms and prehospital departments (SAMU). After obtaining university degrees in Travel and aerospace medicine then in International evacuations, he developed a special interest in international medical care and supported several leading assistance companies for urgent medical evacuations in France. After that, he relocated to Hong Kong and finally moved to Shanghai to return to full clinical practice in 2010. Prior to joining Jiahui Health, he worked in an international emergency room.

      Gallon YU, MD

      Dr. Gallon YU obtained his bachelor degree from Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine in 2008. He then trained in Internal Medicine in Shanghai Ruijin Hospital and was awarded a master degree of Internal Medicine in 2010. As a part of this training he worked as a foreign resident in the Infectious Diseases Department in Nouvel Hôpital in Strasbourg, France for one year. Dr. Yu then completed his Internal Medicine Fellowship in 2012 at Ruijin Hospital. After which he worked as a pulmonologist in Shanghai Tongren Hospital. Before joining Jiahui, Dr. Yu was enrolled in the three year Emergency Medicine training program at United Family Healthcare during which he worked in the Emergency Departments of both Shanghai and Beijing United Family Hospitals. In this capacity, he took care of patients with various urgent medical needs including surgical, trauma, orthopedic, pediatric, and obstetric and gynecologic emergencies. 


      Dr. Yu is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Life Support (PALS) by American Heart Association.

      ZHANG Lu, MD

      Dr. ZHANG Lu serves as an emergency physician at Jiahui Health. Dr. Zhang obtained his medical degree from the Capital Medical University in China in 2000. He completed his residency training and worked as an emergency physician at a public hospital in Beijing. During the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Dr. Zhang provided medical support to athletes as a medical volunteer. In 2013 he obtained his master’s degree from the Capital Medical University.


      Before coming to Shanghai, Dr. Zhang had been working in Beijing from 2000. He had over 16 years of emergency experience in public and private institutions. In 2014, Dr. Zhang started working in the emergency room at an international private hospital. He completed a 3-year intensive fellowship training program there, which enabled him to practice in a more standardized and international way. He then became an attending emergency physician in 2017.

      Dr.GE is currently a physician in ER of JiaHui International Hospital. She graduated from the Second Military Medical University. She received her master degree in internal medicine from Soochow University and another master degree in health management from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and UMT University.


      She has over 18 years of experience in clinical practice, teaching and researching. Her areas of expertise including internal diseases and emergency disease. Before joining JiaHui International hospital, she worked in a large general hospital in Shanghai, and accumulated rich experience in the clinical treatment of internal medicine and emergency attacks for more than 10 years. She also worked in Shanghai Delta Hospital and Shanghai Raffles Hospital, where she enriched her clinical experience in high-end private international hospitals.

       
      Dr.GE holds double boards of Internal Medicine and General Medicine. She has extensive clinical experiences in the diagnosis and treatment of common acute disease or acute attack of chronic internal disease. She applies a holistic approach to manage chronic illnesses as well. She published several research papers on clinical application of diseases related to ER,GI and metabolism in core journals(First Edition).

      Dr. XUE Yangyong was educated at the Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where he received a bachelor’s degree in 1996.       Dr. JIANG Shaowei received his bachelor's degree in Clinical Medicine from Wuhan University in 2006. At the same time, he acquired a double major in Scientific English from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. In 2008, he graduated from The University of Paris VI with a Master's degree in Emergency Medicine. From 2018 to 2019, he studied as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Utah School of Medicine for one year. He received his doctor of Clinical Medicine degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine in 2020.

       
      During his master's studies, Dr. Jiang trained in Emergency Department, Multiple Trauma Centers, Intensive Care Units and pre-hospital emergency units (SAMU) in several teaching hospitals in Paris. He has worked in the Emergency Department of The Third Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University and Xinhua Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine for 13 years. He has rich clinical experience in the standardized treatment of acute and critical patients, and is proficient in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, endotracheal intubation, deep vein catheterization, hemodiafiltration, fiberoptic bronchoscopy, etc., especially good at bedside ultrasound and various operations under the guidance of ultrasound. At the same time, as the instructor of emergency medical training base, he trained medical students and advanced doctors.

       
      Dr. Jiang has also been engaged in a number of clinical scientific research and has published more than 10 SCI articles. He has published a series of high-level SCI papers in J Neurosurg, Int J Surg, J Am Chem Soc, J Inflamm Res and other journals with a total impact factor of more than 40 points. He is also an invited reviewer of Current Microbiology. As the main participant, he participated in the general project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, the project of Young National Natural Science Foundation of China and the project of Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission. He has also been involved in multi-center prospective randomized controlled clinical studies in China and has extensive experience in the design, registration and conduct of multi-center clinical studies. He is also the youth member of chest Pain Committee of China Medical Care Association.

      Dr. ZHANG Linwei serves as an attending physician in the Emergency Department of Shanghai Jiahui International Hospital. After graduating from Dalian medical university in 2005, she worked in Shanghai Oriental hospital. She completed her clinical rotations including cardiology, pulmonology, neurology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, general surgery, anesthesiology, electrocardiogram which laid a solid foundation for clinical work. She has worked in the department of Emergency Medicine of Shanghai Oriental Hospital for more than 10 years. Dr. Zhang is familiar with the diagnosis, identification, and treatment of various major acute and chronic diseases in internal medicine and surgery. In 2013, she also completed her postgraduate studies in Tongji University.
      Prior to joining Jiahui, Dr. Zhang has accumulated additional experience working in a high-end private medical facility in Shanghai.
      Dr. Zhang is certified by the American Heart Association for Basic life support, Advanced Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life support. She is also Neonatal Resuscitation Program certified.

      Dr. Bigyan PUDASAINI serves as a Physician in the Department of Emergency at Shanghai Jiahui International Hospital. After completing undergraduate MBBS training from Kathmandu University in 2008, he worked as a Medical Officer in the Emergency & Trauma Department of Nepal Medical College Teaching Hospital. He has worked as a tutor in the Department of Medical Physiology and coordinator of the department of integrated clinical skill of Nepal Medical College for two years, teaching undergraduate and graduate students. He was awarded a full scholarship from the China Scholarship Council to study for a master's degree, training at the Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital, affiliated to Tongji University for 3 years. Dr. Pudasaini is experienced in the treatment of chronic respiratory diseases, acute and chronic infectious diseases, sports physiology and cardiopulmonary circulation. He has credit to more than 30 academic papers, including case reports as the first or contributing author. Prior to joining JIH, Dr. Pudasaini worked in another Shanghai based high-end private medical institution for 4 years, accumulating experience in private medical practice.

      Dr. NIU Lei serves as attending Physician in the Emergency Department of Jiahui International Hospital.
