Dr. Dong graduated from Shanghai Medical University in 1998 with a bachelor degree in Clinical Medicine and then he joined the Department of Orthopedics of Shanghai First People's Hospital. In 2005, he obtained a master degree from Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University. He has been to the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, USA, and Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, USA as a fellow to learn spine surgery. Prior to joining Jiahui, Dr. Dong worked in the Department of Orthopedics, Shanghai First People's Hospital, served as an associate chief physician and Head of Spinal Surgery, associate professor and postgraduate supervisor. Dr. Dong has 20 years of clinical experience, advocating "patient-centered" philosophy. He is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of common diseases of spinal surgery, and especially specializes in minimally invasive spinal surgery, such as minimally invasive keyHole decompression on cervical radiculopathy, posterior lumbar minimally invasive fusion technique, microscopic lumbar discectomy, percutaneous endoscopic lumbar discectomy and so on.
Dr. Dong has presided over and completed several national-level and bureau-level scientific research projects, and published more than ten papers on core journals and SCI papers. He is currently a member of the Minimally Innovative Group of the Orthopedic Committee of the Chinese Medical Association Shanghai Branch, a member of the International Education Working Group of the Spinal Training of the Orthopedic Professional Committee of the China Medical Education Association, a member of the Minimally Invasive Orthopedic Committee of the Shanghai Association of Integrative Medicine, a member of Spine Committee of the Shanghai Community Health Association, a young member of the Spinal Medicine Committee of the Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine, and the member of the first session of Shanghai Branch of the Chinese Society of SICOT.

She is now the member of the 2nd committee of the Endocrine and Diabetes Professional Committee of the China Association of Non-government Medical Institutions and the member of the 1st committee of Endocrinology and Metabolism Society of Shanghai Xuhui District Medical Association. She used to be the member of the 8th committee of diabetic retinopathy group of Chinese Diabetes Society. In 2012, Dr. Pang was selected as a member of the first “Shanghai Youth Doctors Training and Supporting Program”. She was awarded “Shanghai Outstanding Young Doctors” in 2016. Dr. Pang obtained her master degree of endocrinology from Zhongshan University in 2005. Later in 2008, she got a PhD degree of endocrine and metabolism in Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Before becoming a member of Jiahui, she had been working as an endocrinologist at Shanghai No. Sixth People’s Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University and was appointed as an associate chief physician of endocrine. Dr. Pang is an expert in diagnosing and treating diseases of endocrine and metabolism. She is skilled in prevention and control of metabolic disorders, such as diabetes, obesity, gout, osteoporosis, dyslipidemia, providing professional advices on diet instruction and patient education. Dr. Xia graduated from Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University. He majored in clinical medicine and received Master Degree of Clinical Medicine. After graduation he worked in the Orthopedic Department of Shanghai General Hospital for more than ten years. During this period, he gained clinical skills through dealing with common orthopedic injuries and diseases. Dr. Xia specializes in spinal surgery, and is good at the diagnosis and treatment of various cervical and lumbar diseases. He is able to carry out percutaneous transforaminal endoscopic surgery, minimally invasive lumbar fusion, cervical foraminotomy, percutaneous vertebral augumentation, and other minimally spinal surgeries, and he is also skilled in diagnostic spine puncture and therapeutic spinal injections. Dr. Xia has been to the Swedish Medical Center and Cleveland Clinic as a visiting scholarship for learning surgical techniques in advanced minimally invasive spine surgery.
He has published more than 10 articles in domestic and international academic journals and participated in translation of 3 academic books, and has 6 patents authorized. He serves as a youth member of China Association of Rehabilitation for Disabled Persons, and a committee member of minimally invasive orthopedics society of Shanghai Association of Chinese Integrative Medicine.
