Dr. FENG Rui is currently a multi-site practicing physician at Jiahui Health, serving as a Chief Physician and Doctoral Supervisor with extensive experience in complex endovascular treatments. He is the Director of the Interventional Center and Chief of Vascular Surgery at Shanghai First People's Hospital. Dr. FENG was honored with the title of "National Renowned Physician" in 2017 and ranked first in vascular surgery on China's Best Doctors list from 2020 to 2024. He has long been dedicated to minimally invasive endovascular treatments for various vascular diseases and is one of the most experienced and skilled practitioners in aortic minimally invasive surgery in China. Dr. FENG has guided complex surgeries in over 200 major hospitals across 28 provinces, earning high acclaim in the field. He currently holds positions as Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Endovascular Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Vice Chairman of the Aortic Dissection Group, and is responsible for the Shanghai Aortic Disease Clinical Database. Dr. FENG has received numerous awards, including the National Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Prize) and the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award (First Prize). He has led two National Natural Science Foundation projects and one Shanghai Joint Research Project.

Dr. FENG pioneered several innovative techniques, such as dual-main-branch stent repair for thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms, dual-splint repair for distal aortic dissection, multi-fenestration techniques for abdominal aortic aneurysms, multi-parallel stents for aortic arch repair, stepwise endovascular treatment for retrograde type A aortic dissection, and branch stent-assisted embolization for renal artery aneurysms, which have been published in international authoritative journals. He previously served as Deputy Director of Vascular Surgery at Changhai Hospital and was a key founder of the PLA Vascular Surgery Research Institute and the Shanghai Clinical Medical Center for Vascular Diseases. Dr. FENG is also the lead for aortic disease specialization at the Naval Medical University and Changhai Hospital.

He has been granted multiple National Natural Science Foundation projects and patents, and has published over 50 papers in SCI and core journals. In 2002, Dr. Feng was invited to produce the National Health Commission's key audiovisual teaching material, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms, which won the PLA Outstanding Television Teaching Material Award (First Prize) and the National Outstanding Science and Technology Audiovisual Product Award. He was the first to report several original techniques, such as dual-main-branch stent repair for thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms and dual-splint repair for distal aortic dissection, in international authoritative journals. In 2014, Dr. FENG authored the popular science book Vascular Health: Essential Reading for Vascular Disease Prevention and Care, funded by the Shanghai Popular Science Book Creation Fund and the PLA Veterans Vascular Disease Prevention Fund. He also contributed to China's first textbook on Endovascular Surgery.
