Dr. JIANG Wei is the Chief of Mental Health at Jiahui Health and tenured full professor at Duke University. Dr. Jiang attended Binzhou Medical College in early 1978 and received her Bachelor of Medicine degree in 1982. After graduation, she worked as an internal medicine doctor and a cardiologist in Qianfoshan Hospital of Shandong Province. In 1989, Dr. Jiang went to Duke University School of Medicine in the United States to conduct clinical research on the relationship between psychophysiology and cardiovascular disease. She received her Doctor’s degree in Medical Sciences in 1996, followed with clinical training in the Medicine & Psychiatry combined program at Duke University School of Medicine Affiliated Hospital in America from 1997 to 2002. Dr. Jiang has received research grants from federal research centers and pharmaceutical companies in the United States, and has made unique contributions to advance the field of psychocardiology and psychosomatic medicine. At the same time, she served as Chief Physician and Clinical Instructor at Duke University Medical School Hospital, where she was praised by her trainees as “a mentor with excellent communication skills." For more than 30 years, Dr. Jiang has been insisting on bringing the advanced content of western medicine back to China and integrating it into Chinese culture. She has been the principal of Meilihua Health Education system since 2021, urging integrated psychosomatic medicine to take root in China. Dr. Jiang is licensed by the State of North Carolina and is a member of the American Association of Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, and Psychosomatic Medicine. She returned to China in 2022 and joined Jiahui Health in 2023.
