Dr. SUN Jie is the consultant of Shanghai Jiahui International Hospital and currently the Head of Prostatic Hyperplasia at the Department of Urology at Renji Hospital. From 2002 to 2003, he served as an international resident at the Department of Urology at Bretonneau Hospital in Tours, France.

Dr. Sun currently heads up the benign prostatic enlargement subspecialty team at Renji Hospital. Dr. Sun’s team is equipped with advanced technology and equipment, carries out comprehensive day surgery for prostate enlargement, and is one of the first comprehensive Day-Clinics for benign prostatic hyperplasia in China. Over and above this, it is also a nationally renowned training center for prostate enlargement day surgery.

Dr. Sun’s team has participated in many domestic and international clinical research projects, obtained many national, provincial, and bureau-level projects, and has published multiple scientific papers and domestic core medical journals.

Dr. Sun is a member of the Minimally Invasive Group from the Urology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association; a member of the Urology Branch of the Chinese Society of Research Hospitals; a member of the Functional Urology Diagnosis and Treatment Collaborative Group of the Yangtze River Delta Urology Specialty Alliance; a member of the Urology Specialty Committee of the Shanghai Association of Social Medical Institutions; and a member of the Prostatology Group of the Urology Professional Committee of Chinese Association of TCM and Western Medicine Treatment Alliance for small-volume benign prostatic hyperplasia.
