Dr. Li Qinyu is the associate Professor, Doctor of Medicine, Deputy Chief Physician of General Surgery, Ruijin Hospital Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, part-time doctor of General surgery of Jiahui Health.
From 2003 to 2004, he visited the Queen Mary Hospital of the University of Hong Kong. In 2016 and 2017, he visited Yonsei University in South Korea and Johns Hopkins University in the United States for exchange studies.
He has been engaged in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of thyroid diseases, focusing on the specialized application of minimally invasive technology (endoscopy, robotic system, ablation technology). Specializes in all kinds of benign and malignant thyroid and parathyroid disease precision surgery, including giant thyroid tumor, hyperthyroidism, retrosternal thyroid tumor surgery, recurrent thyroid surgery and neck lymph node dissection. He specializes in the application of minimally invasive neck surgery techniques, including minimally invasive thyroid and parathyroid surgeries such as axillary approach, breast approach, transoral approach, and Miccoli surgery with small incision in neck. He is good at functional protection (nerve, parathyroid exposure protection and functional neck lymph node dissection). He has published more than 20 papers in scientific journals, including 6 SCI papers, and participated in the preparation of 2 monographs. He has led and participated in a number of national and Shanghai Science and Technology Commission and Health Bureau projects.
