Dr. Ricardo graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, where he also completed his residency in Orthopaedics and Traumatology. He later earned a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences through an international academic pathway involving Universidade Federal Fluminense, in Brazil, and Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, in France.
His international training includes specialized programs in Switzerland, the United States, Brazil, France and United Kingdom, with experience at renowned centers such as the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, US, Instituto Cohen in São Paulo, Brazil, and advanced knee surgery fellowships in Lyon at Croix.Rousse Hospital, France. He recently completed an Executive MBA, at Porto Business School in Portugal and Kozminski University in Poland, reflecting his commitment to healthcare leadership, innovation, and continuous professional development.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ricardo has combined clinical excellence with academic leadership and scientific research. He served as Associate Professor of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at Universidade Federal Fluminense and has worked for eight years at Clínica Espregueira – FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence, in Porto, one of Europe’s leading sports medicine and orthopaedic centers. During this period, he treated high-performance athletes and active individuals with complex knee injuries, helping them recover function and safely return to their sporting activities.
Dr. Ricardo also gained important international research experience at Imperial College London, in the United Kingdom, where he worked as a researcher in the Department of Biomechanics. There, he contributed to the development of pioneering surgical techniques for knee ligament reconstruction, reinforcing his expertise in advanced knee biomechanics, reconstructive surgery, and innovation in orthopaedic treatment.
In Portugal, he has practiced in leading healthcare institutions, including Lusíadas Santa Maria da Feira Hospital and Trofa Penafiel Hospital as well as Clínica Espregueira - FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence providing specialized care for patients with knee injuries, degenerative conditions, sports-related disorders, and complex reconstructive needs. His practice is guided by excellence, safety, individualized treatment planning, and a strong focus on functional recovery.

Dr. Ricardo is widely recognized for his contributions to orthopaedic research and education. He has authored and co-authored more than 30 scientific publications in internationally recognized journals and has contributed to ESSKA consensus papers that help shape contemporary global practice in knee surgery and orthobiologics. He is an active member of leading orthopaedic societies, including ESSKA, ISAKOS, AAOS, SBOT, the Brazilian Society of Knee Surgery, and the ESSKA Orthobiologic Initiative Group — ORBIT.
A frequent speaker at international congresses and an instructor in AO Trauma courses, Dr. Ricardo remains actively engaged in education, innovation, and the advancement of knee surgery. Dr. LIANG Huoqi currently serves as an attending physician in the Department of General Surgery (Vascular Surgery) at Shanghai Jiahui International Hospital. In 2019, he earned his Master's degree in Vascular Surgery from Soochow University and completed standardized surgical residency training at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University.

 
Before joining Jiahui, Dr. LIANG worked at a top-tier general hospital in China and accumulated rich work experience. He has extensive experience in the surgical treatment of common diseases in vascular surgery and emergency vascular surgery. He is skilled in treating a wide range of vascular surgery disorders, including sclerotherapy closure, radiofrequency ablation, and other surgical interventions for lower extremity varicose vein–related diseases. Dr. CHEN began his undergraduate studies in the Faculty of Medicine at Shanghai First Medical College in 1980. He earned his Master of Medicine and Doctor of Medicine degrees from Shanghai Second Medical University (now Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine) in 1991 and 2004, respectively. Throughout his career, he has been consistently engaged in clinical urology work and academic research. He has led over ten national, ministerial, and municipal-level research projects and has published more than 150 papers. He is a member of the American Urological Association (AUA), the European Association of Urology (EAU), and the Society for Pediatric Urology (SPU). He has achieved significant results in the treatment of hydronephrosis and duplex kidney, hypospadias, bladder exstrophy and epispadias, correction of complex genitourinary anomalies including cloacal malformations, research into the genetic mechanisms of these conditions, and the use of tissue engineering technology for organ reconstruction. His awards include the 7th Soong Ching Ling Pediatric Medicine Award, the First Prize of the 5th China Maternal and Child Health Science and Technology Award, the Shanghai Children's Work Magnolia Award, and the Second Prize of the China Hospital Science and Technology Innovation Award.

Dr. Gamaliel VENTO serves as assistant to chief in the Department of Emergency at Shanghai Jiahui International Hospital. He is a specialist in Emergency and Intensive Care Medicine with more than 20 years of international clinical experience across Europe, Latin America, and Asia.

 
He obtained his medical degree in Habana and later completed specialty training in Family and Community Medicine, followed by advanced specialization in Emergency and Intensive Care Medicine. He also holds a Master of Public Health and Epidemiology, a Master in Clinical and Healthcare Management, and an MBA focused on Small and Medium Enterprise Management.

Dr. Vento has expertise in advanced critical care therapies including mechanical ventilation, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO VV/VA), point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), trauma resuscitation, and inter-hospital transport by ground and air medical evacuation. He has also been actively involved in the development of clinical protocols, multidisciplinary coordination, and healthcare quality improvement initiatives.

Dr. Vento is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), T-BOSIET, and OGUK offshore medical standards. 

Dr. XIE Yi is currently an attending physician in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Jiahui Health, with nearly 30 years of clinical experience in the field.

Dr. XIE received her Bachelor of Medicine degree in Clinical Medicine from Shanghai Medical University (now Fudan University School of Medicine) in 1997. She began her career at Shanghai First People's Hospital, and then worked in high-end private hospitals for over a decade since 2014.

Since 2017, he has served as the Chairman of the Ethics Committee of the Children's Hospital of Fudan University. He is also a member of the Medical Ethics Committee of the Pediatrics Branch of the Chinese Medical Association.
